Magda of Magdooshka Creates is inspired to design and make her organically driven stained glass creations in her garden studio, motivated by a desire to add more colour, light, and movement into any garden or home.
Magda predominantly uses traditional lead came and copper foiling techniques, together with some etching and engraving details on some pieces. She loves incorporating a variety of materials into a range of her work including glass nuggets and tiny glass beads threaded onto thin, coloured wire. She loves adding her signature twisting and twirling wirework into some of her pieces.
She creates her work to hang or stand using wire, wooden and metal bases or stakes.
Each and every piece of Magda’s work is sensitively and painstakingly made and finished to her high standard from the start of the design process to the final presentation, labelling and packaging.
