I live with my family on a farm near Bainbridge. After milking the cows on a morning, I sometimes have time through the day to craft.

The farm workshop had everything I needed to get started with blacksmithing, so over the last few years Ive had a lot of practice. I think it‘s quite amazing what can be produced with heated steel, an anvil and a hammer. The finished product is usually very robust, useful and will last a generation and beyond.

I always have a crochet project on the go, easy to pick up when I don’t have a lot of time to spare. I like the finished look the rug yarn gives, it suits our robust, country life.
