Tom Addison - Fine Furniture

I am a designer and maker of fine high quality contemporary furniture.

My workshop is based in Wensleydale in the heart of the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park. I create “one of a kind” unique pieces of furniture for purchase and also make to order.

I trained at the prestigious Peter Hall and Sons workshop in the Lake District village of Staveley. Here I spent six years learning traditional furniture making techniques and gained valuable knowledge about furniture design and construction. With this experience gained, I decided to set up my own furniture making workshop and studio in 2021. I now strive to design and make fresh, inspiring and beautiful pieces with quality and craftsmanship at the heart.

I love my job, I thrive on the creativity aspects and the personable working relationships with my customers, that together allows us to create exceptional bespoke furniture.
